Oil on original canvas in honest slightly neglected condition, paint is rather dirty with a little stable craquelure showing above the forehead and near the shoulders, two small patched holes running through the head and forehead that have been reasonable well retouched, housed in the original oak and gilt gesso frame which is now rather tatty, hand written label verso along with London Canvas Makers stamp.
