A Chinese red satin 'dragon' winter robe, late Qing dynasty, with padded lining, finely embroidered in gilt thread and multicoloured silk with eight five claw dragon roundels, all above the terrestrial diagram, turbulent waves and the lishui stripe at the hem, the sleeves with dragons bats and the eight symbols of the Daoist immortals, length 129cm

Minor staining to the back of the robe, a few occasional unpicked threads, the upper bands on the sleeves overlap the 'dragon' roundels, otherwise in good condition.
