Overall rather dirty and dusty with numerous tiny small nicks and scuffs and dirty marks commensurate with age, the banjo has lost the ceramic bridge to the strings and it looks like the main stem of the banjo which is wood has slightly broken away from the ceramic main body, several of the tensioning screws to the drum of the banjo have been chipped or broken away, players left hand has had all four of the fingers broken away and restuck, one or two minor chips around the base. The main drum of the banjo has been broken into several pieces and reglued and restored, one or two short cracks running up from the base rim, no sign of any marks.
