William Stephen Coleman (1829-1904). A pair of pottery plaques, probably for Minton painted with a peacock perched on a branch, the other of a parrot perched on a fruiting branch with a bird and butterflies below, both signed, 36 x 9in., framed

Both plaques are framed so it is not possible to see any maker's marks to the back. Both have fine crazing to the glaze and occasional minor staining. The peacock plaque has a small section re-glued bottom right and the bird of paradise plaque a long thin section re-glued upper right with a splinter chip to the bottom right corner
