Estimate £800-1,200
Both guns in a reasonable condition with a nice patina to the walnut stock, the steel with some occasional minor corrosion otherwise the steel is in reasonable condition, both mechanisms fully working, the ramrods original and with wear with use, one of the pistols has a split to the walnut body supporting the barrel and ramrod which has been previously glued and now come apart again but has not broken away completely, the split actually runs along the line of the ramrod and when the ramrod is in position is hidden, both of the stocks have a small inset replacement part of walnut at the butt end of the pistols, overall typical minor dents and scratches to the walnut body with age and use, it is likely they have been sympathetically restored and cleaned in the last 30 years.
