An Edwardian George III style mahogany breakfront library bookcase, with dentil cornice, blind fret carved frieze and four glazed doors over four drawers and four panelled cupboard doors, on bracket feet, W.9ft 2in. D.1ft 11in. H.8ft 6in.

An imposing piece of furniture of good rich to dark mahogany colour, comes for sale from a private house and does show signs of wear commensurate with age, notably some small losses to the cornice and blind fret work on the top left corner, some light scratching and scuffing to the doors around the escutcheons and on the left near the mid hinges, most of the locks have been replaced and it comes with numerous keys to operate them, shelves slide into place and have numerous adjustments, bottom right cupboard door has a scratch at 3 o'clock, bottom left cupboard door has a scratch at 9 o'clock and is pulling away on one of the hinges, overall this piece needs a little cosmetic attention to get it back into perfect order, it does break down into numerous pieces for removal and re-assembly.
