A Chinese archaistic pale celadon jade vessel or instrument, with hinged sections carved in low relief with scrolls and stylised foliage, the stone with occasional black inclusions, 9.5cm

The stain is a good even tone with some black inclusions in places, there are a few occasional nicks and some minor nibbles along some of the edges, remnants of a white label to one end otherwise in good condition, the measurement 9.5cm is when the vessel is folded, when it is hinged outward and fully extended it measures 19.1cm.
