Lot 562 , A Jaeger Le Coultre electric revolving globe timepiece, 10.5in.
A Jaeger Le Coultre electric revolving globe timepiece, surmounted with a J.Forest Terrestrial globe over the dial and an onyx plinth with chromed base with 1938 presentation inscription, 10.5in.
Estimate £1,000-1,500
No plug so we do not know whether or not it is functioning. Small piece of the paper cove missing from "Canada". There are several tiny nicks around the globe in general. There are numereous scuff marks to the underside ebonised base. There is a small nick to the top rim of the chrome base. Some slight loss to the red marking on one indicator. The wording "Jaeger Le Coultre" name on the octagonal onyx is a little tired.
