A George III design mahogany, amboyna and boxwood banded Carlton House desk, the superstructure with central arched pigeon holes with various small drawers, shaped sides and hinged cupboards above a slide-out writing surface with leather inset rectangular skiver above two frieze drawers, on reeded bulbous turned tapering supports and castor feet, W.3ft 4.5in

Quite faded and lost alot of its original colour. On sloped sides where the varnish has deteriorated, leaving a slightly rough finish. General knocks, scuffs and marks allover and other minor signs of use. 1 or 2 minor areas of boxwood stringing missing, overall reasonable condition but could do wth repolishing.
