A late 19th/early 20th century Chinese silver coffee pot by Wang Hing, Hong Kong, of tapering hexagonal form, with panels embossed with figures in landscape at various pursuits, dragons, prunus or birds amongst bamboo, with dragon handle and dragon's head finial, the base with engraved inscription, 11in, gross 26 oz.

Inscription reads "Let Peace be in thy Strength and Plenteousness in thy Towers" Psalm CXX1 v8. "To R.S.W-B, from Shirburne.J.Weld. October 1910".
The lid is a little loose in situ and one of the silver coloured collars around the hinge pin is now missing. The prongs belonging to the dragon's "beard" to the right on the handle have been bent forward slightly and two have been broken off. The overall condition of the pot is otherwise good. Marks clear.
