A fine Victorian ruby, diamond and rock crystal pendant, mid 19th century, of oval outline, set with a cabochon rock crystal inset with cushion-shaped rubies and cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamonds arranged in a star motif; to a border set with cushion-shaped rubies and diamonds in alternation, to a similar bail, mounted in gold, length approximately 3.9cm, gross weight approximately 15 grams

Accompanied by report no. 24724 from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, stating that a sample of the rubies were found to be of Burmese/Myanmar origin, and one was found to be of Thai/East African origin, all with no evidence of heat treatment
