A George III engraved oval tea caddy, with hinged cover, by Aaron Lestourgeon, with engraved bands of flower heads and rose finial, London, 1771, overall height 11cm, with key, 10.5oz.

Condition:
Finial is loose as one fixing nut is missing. Marks on the cover where the finial has moved. A dent and a few minor knocks around the body. Dent to the underside of the base. Minor surface scratches in general. Small uniform hole to the front of the cover?? Part of the outer rim of the base is misshapen as a gap between the cover and the body is visible. Hallmarks clear.
