A late Victorian 18ct gold half hunter quarter repeating keyless lever pocket watch, by Alexander Guillaume, Spencer St, Northampton Sq. London, together with a similar 18ct gold curb link albert, hung with a yellow metal and bloodstone set fob seal, the watch with enamelled Roman chapter ring and Roman dial with subsidiary seconds, the signed movement numbered 9009, case hallmarked for Henry Charles Dewar, London, 1878, case diameter 46mm, gross weight 96 grams, albert overall length 51cm, 53 grams.

Condition:
Albert in generally good order. Each link is marked but most are quite rubbed. A few tiny chips around the edge of the bloodstone. Pocket watch- Three large hairline cracks and one small hairline crack to the dial and a small area of restoration between the 7 and 8 at the dial edge. Mark left on dial by subsidiary seconds hand. Minor surface scratches to the cased back front and sides, commensurate with age and some use. Slight ding to the case back. Watch ticks but then stops, so in need of attention. The repeater strikes but not fluently and sometimes stop mid chime, so also in need of further attention. Chip to the bulls eye glass aperture.
