A pair of early 19th century rosewood-framed silk worked oval embroideries. Each embroidered with a boy and girl in a country landscape with their dogs. Worked in stem stitch and a knotting, the sky and faces hand painted. 25cm wide. Condition - the face of the boy has bleached with the sun and the silk has worn badly. The embroidery of the girl, the sky has worn badly to the right of her.
