An early 20th silk embroidery of a boy and a girl in a country landscape by a tree and cottage. Worked in stem stitch with painted faces hands and background. Mounted with Verre Eglomise glass and a gilt rectangular frame. 54cm wide x 64cm high including outer frame. Condition - the embroidery is slightly discoloured but the embroidery undamaged. The glass is undamaged and the outer gilt frame has slight sissings to frame near the bottom.
