A mahogany barometer with silvered dial, 90cm high. Condition - fair; untested

Condition:
Mercury tube has been disturbed, possibly damaged inside; base knop has been unscrewed and mercury globules seen running around inside- attention needed. Force will be necessary to gain access to the tube but such force has not been risked. A guess would be very little mercury remaining. Dial surround silvering worn. Age circa mid-19th century.
