Oil on original canvas with a number of patched holes scattered through the work easily visible from our photograph, stretcher marks showing, a yellowy orange tone to the varnish perhaps done deliberately to make the work appear older, otherwise scattered dirt marks along with the already mentioned repaired holes and tears, housed in a old moulded rosewood frame, title inscribed verso. Rosewood frame with bruises, two damp drips and a loss of veneer at top-right corner. Provenance: UK Private Collection.
