An unusual Mughal-style emerald, ruby and synthetic ruby pendant, second half 20th century, composed of a carved cabochon emerald suspending a large hexagonal emerald bead measuring approximately 38 x 41 x 15mm, carved with foliate motifs, in a foliate gold mount set with two carved rubies and a synthetic ruby cabochon pendant, length overall 9cm, stamped 585, gross weight 63.6 grams

Condition:
Emeralds and rubies with typical inclusions, many surface reaching, some discoloration to fissures. Emerald bead is drilled lengthways through the top and is likely from an older necklace. Gross weight 63 grams.
