Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint looks very dirty and would benefit from a clean, one fine wavering surface scratch showing in the brown near 6 o'clock, a small short scratch near the top right corner, a small outward bulge in the canvas showing in the lower folds of her white lace dress, otherwise a little rubbing where it has slipped in the framed over the years, housed in the original gilt slip and probably an associated but old outer oak frame, handwritten label giving details of the artist verso.
