Condition:
Re-lined 40 or 50 years ago, canvas remains tight, paint a little dirty with some fine but stable craquelure running throughout, two surface dents near the bottom right corner, small signs of retouching, housed in a later gilt scroll frame which is dusty but fair, fairly modern attribution to artist plaque loosely applied to the frame, small old label on the lower left of the stretcher, giving the name Srightief born 1734, died 1797.
