Oil on original canvas now with stretcher marks showing, in rather neglected condition, dirty with fine craquelure particularly through the hands and neck, bitumous bubbling and separation lower down, and a dent with loss of paint below his hands, original gilt scroll frame now rather tatty, no labels verso.
