Condition:
This lot a restoration project: Mars head re-attached at neck and plume; further old restoration above his right hand, the sword-hilt, tip of the flag, at his ankles and parts of the green/mauve robe; chips to the flowers at base and around footrim; a small chip to edge of flag. Piper some old restoration at his hands and fingers, mouthpiece of the pipe, one plain-white flower head and his pale blue jacket at the right pocket; further minor damage. Piper with hole at back for a wrought metal candle holder.
