Several areas in need of attention: splits to top at top-left and bottom-left corners, also bottom right corner; one of the top hinges broken; velvet slope worn and torn; one inkwell covers needs to be forced; brass nameplate to top and brass escutcheon detached and taped into place; chip to carcase around side-drawer; side drawer with unusual additional lock; damage to carcase at lock area. In general, a repairs project.
