A large Chinese polished bronze octagonal jardiniere, 19th century, each side cast in relief with a qilin on a diaper ground, applied with a pair of phoenix head handles, on four lion-dog mask and paw feet, 48cm wide at handles, slight faults

Condition:
Typical minor casting imperfections, one of the handles has some later screw and bolt fixings where it become detached and one of the panels has a small solder repair to a qilin. Mud and water residue to the interior, otherwise in reasonable condition.
