It would give me the greatest personal pleasure to see you occupying that great position-but that is a small matter.
What matters is that it would be a good thing for the office itself and your presence there will be of high value to the State.
If you could reply without undue delay I should be grateful as the King is anxious to see a list of the Cabinet as soon as it can be arranged.
