Numerous frits/shallow chips to the glaze at the rims of both of the pair; one plate firing crack to underside, approx. 4cm. Larger Chinese Imari plate with hairline crack affecting footrim, approx. 3cm, likely to be the development from a firing crack. Smaller plate two cracks inward from rim, each approx. 3cm; shallow chips to glaze at rim.
