Case of very good rich dark reddish mahogany tone and looks honest and untouched for many years, minor cracks and small faults throughout, more notable faults include scratching and scuffing of the trunk door where it rubs at the bottom, right side with a rather matted finish and would benefit from repolishing, trunk door lock is a later replacement and no key present, the plinth is a later replacement, dial and movement look to be in very good clean condition with no faults noted, although quite probably the movement is somewhat later being associated to the case, comes with three cast iron weights and a brass pendulum, not tested for timekeeping.
