A large Chinese blue and white jar and cover, Kangxi mark, late 19th century, height 30cm

The cover is not original but associated, it is a slightly different shade of blue and fits a little loosely. The jar has two areas of shallow chipping to the upper rim, there is also a fairly large area of horizontal cracking to the lip of the jar. There are several typical minor flaws in the manufacture including pitting
