A pair of Derby Pinxton/Mansfield porcelain chocolate cups and saucers, c.1790-1800, painted with Billingsley style flowers on a yellow ground and heightened in gilt, the saucer with deep well, unmarked, cup 8.7cm high, saucer 14.2cm diameter

The first cup and saucer - there is some wear to the gilding around the top rim and some slight wear to the gilding on the handle and around the base of the cup and significant wear to the gilding in the well of the saucer, there is some black speckling to the exterior of the saucer and there is a fine star crack to the base of the saucer
Second cup with wear to the gilding on the very edge of the rim, on the wishbone shaped handle, and around the bottom of the cup, the saucer has some slight wear to the gilding in places and there is a little bit of occasional black speckling to both pieces, otherwise in good condition with no restoration or chips.
