Oil on canvas, relined 40 years ago or more. Canvas remains tight. Paint is dirty with some fine but stable craquelure throughout. Some darker flattened bitumus bubbling to the left and right sides.
Old hand inscribed labels verso, the top one concealing what looks to be a Christie's stencil number.
Later gilt gesso frame in fair order.
