Both oils on canvas board in honest slightly neglected condition, paint looks very dirty and both will benefit from a clean, housed in old gilt frames which equally look a little tired. Verso both works inscribed with titles and names of the artist, in addition label for David E. Green of Dartmouth Road, London giving further details of the works and dated 1978, in addition a small extract for a Fine Art Society Exhibition of Maitland's work dated 1994, and an old hand inscribed label regarding the artist.
