A Japanese sectional ivory figure of a Samurai warrior, early 20th century, standing in triumphant pose holding aloft a sword, with good detail to his armour, quiver of arrows and tanto, on a rockwork base, engraved oval seal mark to base, height 20cm, slight losses

There is a messy glue repair to the base of the blade of the sword which is very weak and a section of the armour on his shoulders has been restuck and a sword or some sort of weapon is lacking from his left hand, some slight age cracks to the base of the carving and some slight yellow discolouration to the back and the base of the okimono, otherwise good condition,
