A Japanese yellow ground cloisonne enamel box and cover, early 20th century, decorated with gilded wires with a phoenix to the top and flowers and scrolls to the sides, on shaped bracket feet, the gilt interior engraved with birds and fish, unmarked, 12.3cm

Occasional minor scratches to the enamel, some wear to the gilding around the rims, some light spotting to the gilding on the interior and some wear to the base and the bracket feet consistent with age, generally good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks.
