A Staffordshire lead-glazed creamware hexagonal teapot and cover, c.1760-5, of Whieldon type, with rectangular panels of Chinese figures on a fretwork ground, probably from a block-mould by William Greatbatch, cabbage leaf moulded spout and scrolling leaf handle, decorated in green, ochre, grey and brown glazes, the cover with cauliflower knop, h. 14cm, chip to spout
