A Coalbrookdale black painted cast iron hall stand, designed by Dr Christopher Dresser, c.1867, with arched back with pierced floral scrolls and geometric motifs, the back marked Coalbrookdale and numbered 214963, H.5ft 6in.

There is a small break approx. 1ft up from the base through the triangular shape central column but due to the all the pierced fret work around the base it is quite stable.
Black painted at a later date as expected, overall generally reasonable other than the aforementioned crack.
