Two Yorkshire pottery money boxes in the form of a chapel, mid 19th century, the first painted in underglaze colours and inscribed in 'SARAH:JANE:GREN, GRIMSBY 1848', the other example undecorated, both modelled with figure to each side, on four bun feet, 17.5cm and 18cm

Coloured and titled money box has fine crazing to glaze all over, the rear right foot when viewed from the front has been broken off and restuck with a splinter chip to the base around the area, there is also a crack on the right side of the building extending from the left window to diagonal towards that corner where the foot has been restuck, there are other cracks around the base at the back where the foot has been detached, burnt or worn area of glaze around the slot for the money box, otherwise good.
White glazed money box has a broken and restored left hand chimney, the restoration now slightly discoloured and has fine and slightly stained crazing all over, underside has possibly gone into a star crack.
