An early 20th century Swiss silver singing bird box, of serpentine form, decorated with birds amongst scrolling foliage, import marks for B.C.T & Co. Ltd, London, 1929, (with key), 4in.

The lid of the box seems to be slightly raised to the back left corner but is free from play. The box appears to have been gilded once, however a fair amount has worn away. The mechanism appears to be in working order. Marks clear.
