Top veneer with horizontal splits affecting inlays; also further minor losses to top inlay; otherwise exterior good; no key; interior good and shiny; 1900 calender complete but Jan/Feb torn. Smoker’s companion walnut faded throughout; one side veneer split vertically; inset brass handle monogrammed and dated 1893; thee of the four front corners chipped; revolving front with key.
