Condition:
Armorial plate with hairline cracks visible top and underside, approx. 6cm; series of small shallow chips around rim and one at underside of rim; wear to gilding at central crest, particularly affecting the lion rampant (see images 8 and 9). Plate featuring a chicken glue-repaired full-width in large sections, clearly visible (image 10). Other plate crack inward from rim, approx. 5cm, not easily seen; small shallow chips at underside of rim; minor wear to gilding.
