A gold long guard chain, 19th century, the clasp modelled as a snake's head with foliate decoration, its eyes set with cabochon turquoise, to a fancy link long chain composed of circular links with alternating stamped decoration, connected at each side by smaller circular links, length 130cm, gross weight 62 grams

Condition:
In good condition, minor wear, minor bends and dents to links. Clasp secure, ring connected it to necklace on one side tilted. Stamped decoration to links is intricate trellis design, quite fine and crisp. A rare design, beautifully made and well-articulated.
