Three fob seals, 19th century, the split ring with floral engravings suspending three fob seals: one in carnelian, engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a ducal coronet and a horse passant; one in pale blue-grey chalcedony depicting the same crest of a ducal coronet and a horse; and another in white chalcedony depicting the Masonic set-square and compass, largest seal 3.5cm high, combined gross weight 31 grams

Condition:
Overall in good condition, metal unmarked and untested, some minor wear and discoloration. Largest matrix 2.2 x 1.8cm. White chalcedony with yellowish zone to one side. Coat of arms unidentified, but the crest and cross are possibly related to the Upton family.
