A Japanese Imari style coffee pot, Hizen ware, c.1700-1730, of hexagonal tapering form, the panelled body moulded in low relief with the figures of samurai, bijin and flowers, with brocade pattern borders, applied with an S-shaped scroll handle, European bronze spigot tap, on three figural feet, 40.3cm high, repairs

Condition:
There is a curved crack to the lower third of the body extending across part of the base, all three of the feet have been broken off and messily re-glued, remnants of tape residue around the top where the cover has probably been taped in position. The cover appears to be original and has cracks to the top and a replacement wood finial.
