An impressive Chinese famille rose baluster vase, 19th century, painted with dignitaries and attendants in a continuous river landscape, the shoulder and neck with a palace and the figures of Lu Dongbin and two demons, the neck applied with a pair of lion-dog handles, 63cm high, minor flaking to enamels

Condition:
There is some wear to the gilding around the rim and on the handles. There is some occasional flaking to the enamels, in particular on the rock work, the interior of the vase has water residue. In good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.
