Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint with some fine but stable craquelure throughout, signs of retouching here and there particularly one dark spot in the sky, plain stripped pine frame. Provenance: Sotheby's Old Master paintings sale 19th December 1979 Lot 110 purchased as Flemish School c.1700. Barlow attribution from a subsequent Christie's insurance valuation.
