Gen. light spotting and browning, heavier to plates, pp.415-418 loose in vol. 5, bookplate of ‘Clement Shorter’ to front pastedowns, minor tears or creasing to folding plates, most hinges are holding but vol. 1 upper hinge is weakened, rubbing to all extremities, some surface loss to a few boards, spine panels of vols. 3 and 5 splitting.
