A Chinese bronze and copper alloy tripod censer and cover and a Chinese archaistic bronze tripod vessel, yi, both 17th century, the censer with six cartouches cast in relief with flowers and foliage, formerly gilded, with fruiting vine pierced cover, 12cm high, the yi vessel cast in low relief with a band of ‘leiwen’, 13.5cm high, faults (2)

Condition:
The ding and cover is very grubby and there is evidence that the original gilding on the ground of each of the reserves is still present. Unfortunately the three legs have been bent inward and have a number of dents to them, both handles are missing the rings.The yi is slightly misshapen has casting imperfections and a loss to the tip of one of the feet.
