A large George V Britannia standard silver tea kettle on two handled stand, with burner, by Charles & Richard Comyns, of bulbous form, with turned wooden handles, the stand with three scroll legs, on shaped pad feet, London, 1922, overall height 30.8cm, gross weight 112oz.

Condition:
Two of the feet are raised slightly, so perhaps a little misshapen. The hinge is missing from the taper cover, so loose. Small dents to the underside of the burner. The inner rim of the cover has a small dent. Mild tarnishing in general. Small split/flaw to the kettle wooden handle. Both stand handles are split, one more serious than the other. Minor scratches and dings to the piece in general, commensurate with age and mild use. Hallmarks clear on all pieces.
