the former with crossed batons in red, decorated with pink marbled ground with a black “Greek Key” band and a wide gilt border. Provenance: Cordwent Collection, the Pinxton cup of Bute shape with a loop handle, decorated with a simple blue enamelled line, the saucer, although of the same pattern,
appears to be of a larger size, saucers 9.4cm and 10cm (4)
