on scrollwork bases, crossed swords marks, incised model numbers C97, C98, C99 and C100,

Condition:
The group emblematic of earth has losses to a plant in a pot, the encrusted leaves of the tree stump and another plant and the teeth of his rake. The figure of water is grubby but appears to be in good condition with no losses or restoration. The figure of air has losses to the tree on the right, the handle and door of the birdcage and his left arm has been broken off and re-glued with some splintering around the area. The figure of fire has a loss to the end of his stirring rod between his hands otherwise in good condition. No restoration detected on any of the figures.
