Condition:
Sauce jug repaired crack to upper handle joint; graze to neckrim of jug at upper handle joint; repaired chip with repainting to neckrim, side-centre, approx. 10 x 5mm; painter’s mark in underglaze blue. Barrel-shape jug shallow chip to outside edge of pouring lip, approx. 4 x 3mm. Moulded jug much of upper body professionally restored including whole of pouring lip, clearly visible; front of footrim stained and shallow chip to underside, not serious.
